Myomectomies
This is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of fibroids from the uterus while leaving the uterus intact. It is typically recommended for women who wish to preserve their fertility.
Hysterectomies
This is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the uterus. It is typically recommended for women who have conditions such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, or cancer, and who no longer wish to have children.
Ovarian cystectomies
This is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of ovarian cysts. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs that can develop on the ovaries and can cause pain and discomfort. Our team of experienced gynaecologists can provide ovarian cystectomies to help alleviate these symptoms.
Marsupializations
This is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of a Bartholin’s gland cyst. Bartholin’s gland cysts are fluid-filled sacs that can develop on the Bartholin’s glands, which are located on either side of the vaginal opening. Marsupialization involves creating a small incision and draining the cyst, then sewing the edges of the incision to the edges of the cyst to create a small pouch, or marsupial, that allows for continued drainage.
