Advanced Reproductive Treatment (ART) refers to a range of medical interventions designed to improve fertility outcomes for couples who are experiencing difficulty conceiving naturally. At Arctic Gynae Centre, we offer the following ART services:

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF is the process where an egg is fertilized by sperm outside the body, in a laboratory dish. The resulting embryo is then transferred to the woman’s uterus. IVF is a highly effective treatment for various infertility causes.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

ICSI is a specialized form of IVF where a single, healthy sperm is injected directly into the center of an egg. This technique is often used in cases of severe male-factor infertility or previous IVF failures.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

IUI is a fertility treatment that involves the insertion of prepared, washed sperm directly into the uterus during ovulation. This procedure increases the chances of pregnancy by ensuring a higher concentration of sperm reaches the egg.

Ovulation Induction & Monitoring (Controlled Ovulation Induction)

This treatment uses medication to stimulate the ovaries to produce one or more mature eggs than usual. We carefully monitor the development of the follicles and timing of ovulation, which is crucial for maximizing the success of timed intercourse or IUI.

Fertility Preservation

Fertility preservation techniques allow individuals to store reproductive materials for future use, often before undergoing medical treatments (like chemotherapy) or for personal reasons (like delaying childbearing).

Embryo Freezing (Cryopreservation)

This involves freezing and storing viable embryos created through IVF or ICSI for future transfer.

Egg (Oocyte) Freezing

This process involves collecting and cryopreserving a woman’s eggs for later use, offering a way to safeguard future fertility.

Sperm Freezing (Semen Cryopreservation)

Sperm is collected and frozen for future use in fertility treatments like IUI or IVF/ICSI.

Ovarian Tissue Freezing

This is a technique where a small part of the ovary is removed, frozen, and later thawed and transplanted back to restore fertility, primarily for young patients facing cancer treatment.

Testicular Tissue Freezing / Sperm Retrieval (TESE, PESA, MESA)

These are surgical procedures used to retrieve sperm directly from the testicles or epididymis. The retrieved sperm or tissue can be used immediately in ICSI or cryopreserved for later use. Techniques include Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE), Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA), and Microscopic Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (MESA).

Third-Party Reproduction

Donor Egg Programs

These programs use eggs provided by a young, screened donor which are fertilized with the partner’s or donor’s sperm and the resulting embryo is transferred to the recipient’s uterus.

Donor Sperm Programs

This service involves the use of sperm from a fully screened donor for use in treatments like IUI or IVF.

Gestational Surrogacy

Gestational surrogacy is an arrangement where a woman (the gestational carrier) carries a pregnancy for another person or couple (the intended parents). The carrier is not genetically related to the child.

Diagnostic and Supportive Services

Hormonal and Fertility Assessments

Comprehensive assessments including blood tests and imaging are conducted to evaluate both partners’ hormonal levels and overall fertility status to accurately diagnose underlying issues.

Laparoscopy / Hysteroscopy

These are minimally invasive surgical procedures used for both diagnosing and treating conditions that can cause infertility. Hysteroscopy examines the uterine cavity, while Laparoscopy examines the pelvic organs outside the uterus.

Counselling and Psychological Support

We provide essential counseling to address the emotional, ethical, and psychological challenges that can accompany fertility treatment, ensuring couples have the support they need throughout their journey.

At Arctic Gynae Centre, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality advanced reproductive treatment services in a compassionate and supportive environment. We understand the emotional and physical challenges of fertility treatments and work closely with our patients to ensure they receive the best possible care and support.
